Production Manager, Cabinet & Millwork Shop
P5 Millwork & Design Ltd. is a family-owned cabinet and millwork shop with over 30 years of experience in commercial and residential projects. This is a hands-on leadership role balancing production planning, scheduling, quality control, inventory management and team development.

What we are looking for
- 2+ years of leadership experience in cabinetmaking, millwork, or woodworking, or equivalent.
- Experience managing a production team of 6+ and overseeing all shop operations.
- Strong communication with time management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, inventory management and ERP software.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Journeyperson certification or equivalent experience.
What you will do
- Lead, motivate and mentor a skilled production team.
- Plan daily and weekly schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Manage workflow, production reporting and inventory.
- Oversee quality control at all stages of production.
- Provide technical expertise in woodworking, CNC operations and finishing.
- Support the training and professional development of team members.
- Drive continuous improvement while maintaining a safe, positive shop culture.
- Contribute to production when needed.
- Other related duties as assigned may also be part of the role.
